Privacy Policy
How EFKen Leasing collects, uses and protects the personal data you share through this website.
Who we are
EFKen Leasing Ltd (“EFKen”, “we”, “us”) is an equipment leasing company registered in Kenya, with its main office at Roshanmaer Place, Ground Floor, Lenana Road, Nairobi, and a postal address of P.O. Box 2735 – 00606 Nairobi. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website.
What we collect
We collect only what you give us through the forms on this site:
- Enquiry and contact forms — your first and last name, business or organisation, email address, phone number, and the content of your request.
- Job applications — your name, the position applied for, email address, phone number, your CV or resume, and any cover letter you submit.
- Whistleblower reports — the details of the concern you describe, where it occurred, and any name, email address or phone number you choose to provide. These fields are optional and a report may be submitted anonymously.
Our web server also records standard technical information such as IP address and browser type as part of normal operation.
Why we use it
Enquiry data is used to respond to you and to assess and administer a possible leasing relationship. Recruitment data is used solely to evaluate your application. Whistleblower reports are used solely to assess and investigate the concern raised. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who sees it
Enquiry and recruitment data is seen by the EFKen staff who need it to do their work. Whistleblower reports are transmitted to EFKen’s designated whistleblower officers only; they are handled outside normal line management and are never shared with the person or people named in the report.
We may share data with service providers who host this website or deliver our email, and with regulators, auditors or law enforcement where we are legally required to do so. Where an equipment supplier must be contacted to progress your application, we share only what is necessary for that purpose.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry and customer records for as long as needed to serve you and to satisfy the record-keeping periods required of a Kenyan financial services business. Unsuccessful job applications are kept only as long as needed for recruitment purposes. Whistleblower reports are retained for as long as the investigation and any resulting action requires.
How we protect it
Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored with access limited to the staff who need it. Whistleblower submissions are held securely and separately, and are used solely to assess and investigate the report.
Your rights
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 you have the right to be informed of how your data is used, to access the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request deletion, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
Cookies
This website uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, and may use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though parts of the site may then not work as intended.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any change takes effect when the revised policy is published on this page.
